Monsglacia Crimson
Planet Description:
The unknown regions remain largely unexplored, however a recent discovery of a new mineral on the planet of Mons Glacia in that sector has urged the Republic to set up a base of operations there. Mining of the mineral has proven to be a lucrative endeavor, therefore the mine has attracted multitudes of Republic citizens to work the mines, who later established a town close to the mine. Such a prosperous enterprise however, must have attracted the attention of other factions in the galaxy. Let us hope the Republic will stay vigilant and stand fast against the potential raiders.

Player Guide:
Rather than a constant action, major event encounters will occur in forms of events whenever a Gamemaster is able to similar to the base Server 1 Venator attacks. Unless there is an active event running Gamemasters should not spawn or have combat in the base period. However during downtime, the outside area should be able to welcome small amounts of combat such as enemy scouting patrols, remnant forces from a prior battle, bounty hunter groups or the local wildlife. Passive RP events for deployment day seen idea, there are plenty of opportunities for them to occur and develop. Mini events happening in the town or isolated at the mine or certain areas outside the base would be much welcomed, giving people the option to leave the base and go partake if need be. The lore of the map pretty much supports all enemies we have available, sith attacks, cultists, bounty hunters, infection events and wildlife.
Rules
NPCs
All NPCs will be able to be spawned. That means combine, CIS, various alien factions, zombies + the various event characters that fall into these categories. There needs to be a clear purpose to why these factions are attacking.
Event Characters
VIPs can be used freely as event characters. If you cannot control event characters, you will be held responsible for their actions, as gamemasters always are. Standard event characters should have a maximum of 4k HP/2k Armor, and should have a vibrosword and E5. The vibrosword/sabers should NOT be used on clones, and only be used for combat with Jedi.
Assassins, or DFUs, may be used. An Assassin should not appear in quantities more than 3-4 an event. DFUs should have no more than 6k/2k, and should make sense in a roleplay aspect, being relatively focused. Assassins may be captured and sent to brig if the clones want to roleplay this. They may then be rescued by other CIS forces if the gamemasters so wish. DO NOT POWERGAME TO GET OUT OF BRIG IF YOU INTEND TO BE CAPTURED. NOCLIP IS NOT A FORCE POWER!
Spawning
NPCs should be spawned in sporadic groups, either as a patrol through the valley, a small attack force to try and take over one of the checkpoints, or a full on main assault. NPCs should also have the feeling of approaching the clones. They should be spawned in small groups up to where the players are. The clones need to have time to see the droids and react accordingly.
Drop pods can be used freely without a ship in the air (/describeall a ship from orbit etc) However if used no ship dupe should be over 200 props. Following the standard of normal S1 events, drop pods may be used to simulate attacks on the main base itself to accommodate the battle station format.
When attacking the base itself (from the valley to the entry point), the only thing that should ever be rushing straight for the critical systems like the generator room are covert themed event characters such as Commando droids, and even then it should be done fairly stealthily.
Do NOT pulls spawns out of your ass. How does a commando droid have 6 ceiling turrets on it? How do a small planet’s worth of droids make it into the Generator Room via a single drop pod or the vents?
Vehicles
Vehicles should only be spawned with permission from the CC (Those in command of the base, located in ATC usually). A maximum of 2 Republic Vehicles at a time are allowed, with exception to 104th tanks (1 at a time maximum) and RP ships (3 at a time maximum) Total of 5 vehicles max.
DO NOT dupe and paste HL2 vehicles, this will cause the server to crash.
Environment
The overall environment should feel like a listening post on a defensive front. Sporadically droids will move across a clone’s patrol route or checkpoint, sporadically they’ll attack. A clone patrol might stumble upon a CIS trade convoy. It’s up the gamemasters that are currently gamemastering for the deployment day to ensure there’s a decent level of immersion and realism to the scenario. Star Wars wise, think like a planet situated in the Outer Rim with something similar to the RishI Moon outpost or Endor during the Galactic Civil War era. Real life examples would be like modern-warfare FOBs established in foreign territories to protect resources such as fuel deposits.
Server 2 events
Server 2 events will only be on the planet of Mon Glacia. This means that they’ll essentially be excursions to other parts of the planet to attempt to accomplish goals. Maps with the same snowy terrain as mon glacia are to be used. Vyten or Balkans Snow would be great choices for this.
The Mine / Patrol Routes
The mine should be optionally manned by the republic as they the main reason or reason for deployment on this planet. The mine was established to mine and gather the large quantities of minerals that was recently found on this planet. During events in which target this objective, clone forces should prioritise protecting this location as it will be the main target for any faction.
Patrol Routes should be a constant occurrence, frequently scouting out the valley for potential threats and establishing a first contact/warning system for the main base of operations.
Participation
If you are a gamemaster and are participating in gamemastering for the Deployment Day, one of the event channels will have the name changed to “Deployment Day”. Any gamemasters wanting or already actively gamemastering passively will be in this channel. Anything that happens on Server 1 will remain in this channel, be it 10 droids spawned as a patrol or a full on assault on the base. Server 2 main and mini events will still be required to be in the respective Main/Mini Event Room channels, but anything that happens on server 1 is to be in the Deployment Day channel, unless there are too many event characters or different things happening at once to require using a different channel for different things.
Gamemasters are expected to work together. If someone is already doing something on server 1, work with them, or create something new together. Don’t try and muscle through something, like if you want to do a full scale attack and the GM currently doing something just wants to do a patrol, make a compromise and have a patrol wander into a checkpoint and then have an uncoordinated attack from somewhere else, as if simulating different regiments under different commands.
The key to this entire day is that it feels much more engaging and active. Gamemasters are strongly encouraged to actively participate in helping with the deployment day, and help create more communality within the gamemaster team.
