Overview

By default when typing, your chat will be seen by all players in a short distance around you. Optionally you can do /y or /yell before your message to "yell" your message, greatly extending the range at which it can be seen. You can also do /w or /whisper before your message to "whisper" your message, greatly reducing the area at which people will see the message. 

Players may also choose to have an emoji before their name in chat. They can select which emoji they would like by left clicking the emoji box in the bottom right of the chat box, then right clicking the emoji they want. Due note however that some emoji's are locked behind hour requirement's and will not let you select them.
